What is an artisan keycap?

An artisan keycap is a handmade sculptural keycap designed to replace a standard key on your mechanical keyboard — most commonly the ESC key. Each one is cast in resin and finished by hand, making every piece slightly unique.

What profiles do your keycaps fit?

Our keycaps are compatible with Cherry MX switches and most standard MX-compatible keyboards. Available profiles include OEM, SA, and others — please check the product page for specifics.

What is MyDCT?

MyDCT (Make Your Dreams Come True) is our fully custom keycap service. You send us your concept — a character, an idea, a reference image — and we design and handcraft a one-of-a-kind keycap just for you. Pricing starts at $50 USD. [Learn more →]

How long does production take?

  • In-stock items: shipped within 3–5 business days
  • MyDCT custom orders: approximately 3 weeks from design approval to shipment

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

Are your keycaps made with copyrighted characters?

For in-stock products, all designs are original Ciels Studio artwork. For MyDCT custom orders, we cannot produce designs that infringe on third-party intellectual property. We'll let you know during the design stage if a request falls into this category.

How do I care for my keycap?

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent yellowing. Clean gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not submerge in water.
